Worried about your kiddo or family?

Families come to therapy in all different shapes, sizes and orientations. I have extensive training working with more than one person in the family, especially when there is a teen or child experiencing a high level of distress with problems at school, social or with behavior at home.

Of course you want to be a good parent… and gosh it can be really hard especially with the many demands that life has.  My role is to help parents clarify what is important to them, explore what works or doesn’t with their kid (s) and to provide actionable suggestions and tools for parents to implement. Each family and child possesses unique strengths and faces challenges, the nuances of parenting can be tricky to navigate especially in the current state of education and work from home demands. It is my hope to strengthen families and support resiliency in these trying times.

I have experience working as a school counselor, an intensive outpatient program for kids/teens and with families that have come through my private practice as well as the Mental Research Institute.

I do home visits and in-school observations and consultations as well.
